Agile Engineer / Senior Developer

The Dibbzz team is looking for 2 Agile Engineers to join our R&D team, to help us in transforming the entertainment and fan experience for consumers. This role will work with the Engineering organization to develop amazing new product features for our customers. The positions are based our of our London office, (alternatively off-site) and you will report to our Head of Technology.

You

  • You have deep understanding of mobile and communications technologies including SMS, Messaging, iOS and/or Android applications.
  • You have worked with teams to build great user application experiences, disrupting existing providers and delighting customers.
  • You are extremely knowledgeable in emerging technologies like Chatbots, Twilio, and mobile payment gateways.
  • You are a team player that helps to motivate team members to achieve great outcomes.

 

Responsibilities and duties

  • Work with the team to develop software according to the defined features.
  • Provide guidance to team members and mentor them to achieve the product goals.
  • Create a collaborative environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation and learning.
  • Provide engineering and technology leadership in developing the software and products.

 

Desired Skills/ Experience:

  • Experience in developing applications with a great user experience and innovation in mobile payments.
  • Knowledge and experience in Chatbots, Twilio, Facebook Messenger apps and similar technologies.
  • Understanding of the Agile Development Lifecycle.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional, distributed team.

AGILE ENGINEER / INTERMEDIATE DEVELOPER

This role will work with the Engineering organization to develop amazing new product features for our customers. You

  • Willing to work in a startup environment, can work independently, not afraid to collaborate or ask for help from team members.
  • Knows Agile development, can take a user story and ask the right questions.
  • Experience in programming business applications or consumer-facing applications.
  • Ability to program in Node.js and Java, use REST APIs and messaging.
  • Experience in using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of payment gateways.
  • Experience in Twilio, messaging or chatbots is an advantage.

TechnicAl Product Manager

The Dibbzz team is looking for a highly-skilled, agile Product Manager to join us in transforming the entertainment and fan experience for consumers. This role will work with the Engineering organization to design amazing new product features for our customers. In this role, you will work with all areas of the organization to deliver the Dibbzz user experience and products while simultaneously managing the day to day aspects of the product development. The positions are based our of our London office, and you will report to our Head of Technology.

You

qualifications & Skills/ Experience:

  • Experience in developing applications with a great user experience and innovation in mobile payments.
  • Familiarity with mobile payments, ticketing process, loyalty and rewards programs.
  • Knowledge and experience in Chatbots, Twilio, Facebook Messenger apps and similar technologies.
  • Understanding of the Agile Development Lifecycle.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional, distributed team.
  • Experience translating and defining customer requirements and use cases that deliver a simplified user experience.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional, distributed team.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is a plus, but not required.
